Travel Cots
Travel/ Portablecots are intended for temporary use and for travelling purposes only, and not for long-term or permanent use. Injuries can be caused if the portacot is not assembled correctly. When buying your portacot CHECK that its locking mechanisms work correctly and that it has twin locking mechanisms.
Don’t allow older siblings to climb in and out of the portacot as this causes strain to the framework. Make sure that the bedding fits snuggly. Ensure that no dangling cords or other possible entrapments are left near the portacot. Always follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions for assembling and using the Travel Cot.
